The Slovak Society of Olympic and Sports Collectors (SSOŠZ) brings together people interested in collecting with an Olympic and sporting theme. Our aim is to support, develop and promote collecting fields that document the rich history of sport, the Olympic movement and major sporting events in Slovakia and worldwide.

We bring together collectors of badges, postage stamps, postal stationery and history, postcards, medals, coins, tickets, accreditations, programmes and other objects connected with Olympism and sport. Everyone interested in sporting history preserved through authentic collecting material is welcome—from beginners to experienced collectors, exhibitors and researchers.

SSOŠZ creates a space for members to meet and exchange knowledge, experience and collecting material. We organise specialist meetings, lectures, exhibitions and presentations, support publishing and research, and cooperate with Slovak and international organisations active in Olympic and sports collecting.

We pay particular attention to documenting the achievements of Slovak Olympians, athletes and important sporting events. Through collecting objects, we help preserve and present sporting heritage for current and future generations.

Our members take an active part in national and international exhibitions and events, present their collections and broaden knowledge of sporting and Olympic history. SSOŠZ also supports young collectors and everyone wishing to discover the fascinating world of sports collecting.
